Dlf clothing is a street-wear brand I started in 2011.
It stands for dreaming living flying clothing
WHAT IS IT THAT INSPIRES YOUR DESIGN'S AND IDEAS?
Davey Allen:
Everyday life. Taz Arnold and Ralph Lauren with both of their brands. The detail of each design. I really was inspired by those people. Also people like Jean basquait, Keith haring, Jimi Hendrix, Andy Warhol. People that where so different but revolutionary during their time.
WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE TO CREATE A CLOTHING LINE?
Davey Allen:
Just to be different from my peers and create something I could be proud of, I was a sophomore when I started taking it seriously.
Davey Allen:
Quality because the longevity of a brand is weighted on its quality of presentation and product it puts out each season.
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOUR BUSINESS IN THE NEXT
FIVE YEARS?
Davey Allen:
Reaching more people across the country and world. Hopefully just in front of a larger audience and giving people a message that you can do what ever you want in this life.
IF YOU CAN COLLABORATE ON A DESIGN WITH ANY
OTHER BIG NAME BRAND WHICH ONE WOULD
CHOOSE?
Davey Allen:
Maybe a brand like Nike And design a Air Jordan colorway or work with billionaire boys club, I really want to work this girl named Carly Heywood and her brand.
