IME (I Must Entertain) aka Futur Beats is a producer, recording engineer, rapper, and singer from the McKees Rocks neighborhood of Pittsburgh, PA. He first started rapping in 2005 and even joined marching band, concert band, and concert choir during high school. During this time he got more serious about doing music and started producing as well. IME is inspired by both classical music and the thought of putting a smile on his mother's face. He describes his music as real, meaning it's relate-able, catchy, and therapeutic. What sets IME apart from other artists is that he considers himself more than just an artist, but also an entertainer. Once you listen to his music or see him perform, he guarantees that you will have been entertained.
When Did You Realize Music Was Your Calling?
IME: November 2005. I found out my cousins were in a rap group (Beenafficial). After listening to their work, I wanted to make it my goal to do at least one song with them. After recording my first 3 songs, I let people hear them & got a surprisingly shocked feedback. With time, I've noticed it came to me easier then other things.

Who Or What Influenced You Most To Pursue Music?
IME : Beside family, a few artist influenced me with their ability to tell a story. Lyfe Jennings, for the pain/realistic stories. T-Pain, for his entertainment presence. 90's Hip-Hop & R&b, for the simple fact that it has possibly the best selection of music overall. Can't forget about the greats; Michael Jackson, Prince, Boyz II Men, Shai, New Edition, LSG, NWA, TGT, and to round out this list for now… The Temptations.
Is It Your Time To Shine If So Why Now?
IME: It most definitely is my time. I've been just stacking on music & concept ideas since 2012. As soon as I get the Business side of things finalized, it's pedal to the metal. I feel like I need to have all ends covered before I release music and/or hit the stage.
What Can We Expect Of Your Career In The Next Two Years?
IME: Music, music, & more music. I'll be having projects on iTunes, google play, Spotify, etc. Hopefully hitting the road in 3-6 months. I'm always willing to work with people.
