A.T : My name is Ajaylah Thompkins I usually go by Jay. 22 years old from Pittsburgh, from Homewood but raised on the Northside. Everyone who knows me knows that I am a all around fun person a bit out there, very crazy but that is what makes everything I do stand out the most.
Model Or Stylist What Comes First?
A.T: I always been modeling for quite some time a lot of people think that is what I should do for a living but I am more into the fashion part and behind the scenes.
Who Or What Motivated You To Pursue A Career In Fashion?
A.T: I attended The Art Institute of Pittsburgh for about a year and a half for Fashion Design. That is when I realize school is not for me, I wasn't really into the irrelevant classes and I truly believe you can enter the fashion world without having a piece of paper to prove that you know what you are doing. It wasn't all a waste I got to take some business classes and gain knowledge as to what it takes to open a business. Sometimes it is hard for me to focus on just one thing because I'm a multi talented person! I love to paint, sew, rap, sing, do make up and style. I can never concentrate on one. I was first motivated to consider a career in Fashion when I was in middle school, we had to wear uniforms and it was really hard for me since my parents switched me into a different school. So since i was wearing the same thing as everyone else I wanted to stand out. I would bedazzle my shoes, wear bows and pins on my clothes. I was different. That is when I knew I loved fashion.

A.T: Dope. Dynamic. Edgy!
Where Do You See Your Career In 2 Years ?
A.T: In 2 years I see myself more developed, with bigger clientele, further into the industry.

A.T: I have a few future projects in the works I'm working on music right now, trying to figure out who i am and my own sound. So look out for an EP or even a mixtape. I also have an eyeshadow line Im working on called Blanco, it's a glitter based eyeshadow and everything will be made naturally by me personally. There are other things I'm working on as well but I like to keep some things to myself, just so I can focus more.
